The 7th annual Berkeley Communications Conference (BC2) on Wednesday, June 6, from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. at International House. This year’s conference brings back our full-day format and will feature various forms of storytelling around our theme: “EVOLVE.” As new communication tools and platforms surface, we must constantly find ways to adapt our message and strategy to better fit the ever-changing environment. This year communication professionals will speak on how their work has evolved and changed to reach both existing and new audiences.
The morning will kick off with a continental breakfast and a welcome address from Diana Harvey, associate vice chancellor for communications and public affairs. Our day will feature two keynote speakers, Brian Monahan, head of customer strategy at Pinterest, and Adam Kleinberg, CEO and co-founder of advertising agency Traction. The conference will also include several breakout sessions with dynamic speakers and panelists including Nan Keeton, deputy director of external relations for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Dimitri Moore, producer and filmmaker at Digital Promise.
As is BC2’s tradition, the conference will shine a spotlight on our campus communicators’ creative work with the BC2 Brand Awards, and we will finish the day out with a networking happy hour!
The BC2 Brand Awards entry deadline is Monday, April 30, 2018. Entry form and more details can be found here. Enter today!
